The first step in any good container gardening project is definitely DECORATING!
We then planted mint, basil and rosemary (and a strawberry plant she got as a birthday party favor). So we are all crossing our fingers that we will have some delicious dinners in our future. 
At least this helped us think it was spring-like today.

Our garden(yard)looks so much better since your visit. The perennials are coming to life, and I've planted poppies with gold, orange and yellow flowers (already). We have purple petunia and red fuscia baskets, AND two baskets of strawberries that I snack on daily...yum!
